Unmasked: the final years of Michael Jackson

Today's topic is what language does the writer use to shape your judgment about the subjects. He generally tries to not shape you judgment. But the few time he does he uses a lot of emotionally loaded language. But at the same time he uses unbiased language and really gives the reader a chance to decide on their own about the situations. The is very interesting in the fact that he gives you positives and negatives in every situations that he describes which leaves the reader with a decision to make about which side of the argument they are on. He.generally gives you little direction in your opinion he tries not to lead you to one specific side

  1. 4/4 entries for 9/18/09--but be careful that you are not redundant (see note below)

Great topic choices! You note specifically the ways that the author conveys a sense of not being biased (admitting when he doesn't know something, for example). His prediction of MJ's death didn't make you suspicious of him, though? His book comes out so quickly.... Smells fishy to me!

Your topic choices are good, but work to make each blog entry original and specific to what you have most recently read. Three of your entries essentially say that the author is unbiased, but you don't add any details from your most recent reading to be convincing that you are reading further than the book jacket.
