Topic: What is the authors dominate method of communication and how does this affect your relationship with the books content? Archer's main method of communication through out the book is narration. He starts the book by telling about the history of African American struggles in America. He tells different narrations and stories of the overwhelming black struggle in America at that time. He back those with biographies of for men of elaborate on the struggle. His use of narration makes the books content more real it associated a person with the struggle making the books content more compelling, it points out not only did blacks struggle, but these particular men struggled and despite all odds the overcame these set backs and fought for what was right. His use of narration creates a new dimension to the story making it more meaningful and much more powerful it associates a person with the facts and history taking the story to a deeper level.
